Yes but if you are selling $1000 /yr service products , at some point you will have to close the deal by communicating directly to the potential customer, a website can only do so much.

going offline but buying online leads was the best thing I ever did.

generating ( buying) leads on line but selling offline and building offline networks works for me.

I wouldn't touch IM ever....
