There doesn't seem to be much evidence for it. Some think Google may very well apply some sort of 'weighting' in their algorithm if there is whois protection of course.

It does sound a little optimistic. Monetizing autoblogs directly isn't actually teh best way to use them - they work best as devices for pushing PR and backlinks at your real sites.
