If Viglinks, Skimlinks, etc. ARE an alternative to being an Amazon affiliate in a Nexus state, then wouldn't the seller need to establish business in another state first - BEFORE doing so?

In hindsight I'd have branched out to my own site years ago rather than investing so much effort at Squidoo. Such changes are inevitable, yes. I don't think members objected to the changes themselves...

Squidoo tends to get a bad rap here, and primarily the reason given is that you do not own it yourself as you would a wordpress site. True and yet for a total newbie, Squidoo is WAY simpler to learn...
