The concept is excellent. It's very unlikely that it will last long unless you have e.g. a panel of reasonable domain experts to vet domain quality and asking price. There's way too much rubbish...

Picking an EMD for your domain isn't all about pleasing Google. On the premise that EMDs are no good, what would be the criteria for registering a new domain, other than anything with 'brandability'...

It's a blatant TM violation. At best, you could expect a UDRP, and at worst FB could come after you without bothering with a UDRP. You also have serious potential liability if you sell it to someone...

If you're targeting a specific country, e.g. UK, then best fit would be to use a .co.uk domain with a host in that general geo-area. If you're looking to target the Canadian market, then the same...

I'm assuming the problem was DNS propagation - it can take some time, but the IP address should always work off the bat.
