Re: Be an Expert...

Thanks HypeText for starting this thread. I can't agree with you more about the dangers of everyone jumping on the mobile bandwagon without looking first.

I used to jump off bridges for fun. I...

Re: Automated Webinars - What would the FTC think?

Personally, I don't feel comfortable using the feature that makes it look like you have hundreds of other people logging on at staggered times, when in reality you're the only one watching the video....

Re: Kevin Trudeau latest marketing technique

By the way, if Trudeau doesn't know what he's doing, it's pretty amazing that we're all talking about it, showing videos of his infomercial, etc. ;-)

Re: Kevin Trudeau latest marketing technique

Just my humble opinion, but Kevin Trudeau is one of the best salesmen of all time. He is extremely charismatic. Watch just 5 minutes of one of his infomercial and you'll at least be holding a phone...

Re: Ross Goldberg Reputation Management

I rarely buy anything. I'm extremely picky... plus I try not to buy unless I fully intend to actually FOLLOW THROUGH and apply what I learn through a product.

I bought this. 'Nuff said. :-)

Re: Trying to sell a domain/gauge the value of a domain

Re: Does .org have to be a non-profit website?

Depending on the site, sometimes I actually PREFER to use .org. I will use .org over .com (of course, I'll buy the .com and redirect) if it's for a site where I want to build a certain type of...

Re: Something that may help you find a niche

Ah, I see... apparently this button is visible only when there are 50 or more posts for that person, from what I've learned. That's why I didn't see the button when I looked for a way to thank...

Re: Trying to sell a domain/gauge the value of a domain

By the way, realize that the value of a domain is highly subjective and depends on many factors... trends, how many people are fighting/wanting/able to pay for a domain, economics, site performance...

Re: Trying to sell a domain/gauge the value of a domain

If you pm me, I can point you to some people who are very successful in selling domains for top dollar. (Top dollar nowadays isn't quite what it used to be though.) I'll help however I can.

Re: Does .org have to be a non-profit website?

Listen, if a client is gonna argue with you about something that he hired you to be the expert in, maybe you need to fire him.

Just saying. I hate know-it-all clients. I don't mind clients who...

Re: How Many Tabs Do You Have Open On a Browser?

I guess so far, I'm the winner... it's not unusual for me to have so many tabs and windows (with more tabs) that eventually my mac crashes (yes, mac and crash in the same sentence). I've seen windows...

Re: fiverr high ticket gigs. recommendations..

I can't justify trying to get work on fiverr. A friend of mine has been encouraging me to do so... but I don't think I can work FAST ENOUGH to get a decent hourly rate. Doesn't make sense to me.

Re: Goodbye Godaddy. $6.99 transfer to Namecheap. SOPASucks

Just an FYI, Godaddy just reneged on its support of SOPA about a half hour ago. I'd add a link, but I haven't posted enough yet.

Basketball, surfing, waterskiing, kettlebell sport (what can I say? I'm partial to kettlebells since I own kettlebell.com) and gymnastics.

Re: Worst Movie of All Time?

I'd say it's a tie between Dianne Keaton's "Hanging Up" (I won tickets to it, ok?!!) and Shaq's "Kazaam". I was a huge Shaq fan and even I still was groaning about halfway through it thinking "OMG!...
