So here's the thing...I contacted a fanpage owner (100k fans) to promote a shirt and got the campaign to tip, actually it was 22sales on a goal of 20.

Right totally get that! But to make your $20 worth it, you have to test an ad that's gonna do good too, no? Do you always test with the same template, text in your ads? then if its a winner you test...

i noticed i had sold another yesterday, so now 5 total sales. Spent 40$ on the campaign, so at this point its a breakeven campaign.

I started a campaign on saturday, my ctr fluctuates between 3-4% to 7-8%, but cpc overall has stay around 0.35-40$. The first 2 days i got 4 sales, but yesterday and today, none...Now close to 40$...

Wait...9 cents per like is too high paid for. You can get 1-2 cents likes rather easily! damn i'm even getting 1/2 cents likes, and 2-3 cents is the maximum i'll pay for likes depending on the niche.

I agree that likes/shares/comments on the shirt adds some authority....but unless you've got sales, people will probably think "so many liking this shirt, but nobody buying...i won't get it then"
