The good old days are behind us and so is parking. Geo domains have been selling well for me ofcourse prudently priced. Not asking $5k for a domain i reg at $8 :)

This transaction is complete, payment received, name transferred. I dont see how it can come back to haunt him? In may be other transactions. It is up to the buyer what he is comfortable with....

Parking is dead. Keyword domains in the Geo space if targetted to potential buyers has done well for me.

yup. apart from parking revenue, still need to make abt $10k/yr to renew the names. parking has crashed from its peak. i still make about $15k/yr in profit which is not much, but i dont do this full...

reg the name took 2 mins 43 days ago. i have more than 1800 domain names and keep reg handful a week. And everyday send out emails to potential buyers. contacted potential buyers at linked in 6 days...

reg the name and contacted 14 ppl via linked in and sold it. 2 minutes to register the name and 30 mins in sending out emails with fixed price of $1888....

out of about 1700 names i have about 9 .info names (all 3 letters) two .org (3 letters) and the rest are all .com's. have been domaining for 6-7 years having bought and sold names for upto $25k....

built the portfolio over 6 years. geo names are more recent over the past year. covers almost all of the popular niches and popular keywords. no ranking on parked names.
