I don't think it is. It's just hard to get ahead in this game and earn a positive ROI. Even if you can get 1k impressions for $5 with banners and get a .5% CTR (that's good) and a good 5% of people...

You may be able to do all that cheaper, if you pieced them together from individual vendors. The cool thing about LinkEmperor that manage all those relationships for you. I think it's worth it.
