i'd say it doesnt matter as much with PPV as your link is forced to a user anyway, but it's definitely not advisable for other methods, where a user has to click on an ad and sees this as the url...

your prosper domain doesnt have to be the same as your landing pages ;)

your traffic source can only see where their pixel is placed, ie your prosper domain or offer page, which doesnt give much really. nothing that they wouldnt know by simply following your link anyway....

yes, you can set up your traffic source pixel in step 1, but to make it fire you will need to use the Universal Smart Pixel from step 8 in prosper to add to your offer page. not all offers allow...
