Re: How a random trip to the chinese restaurant ended up getting me $8,000 worth of business

If what you claim works. Which I know it doesn't.

I have a better idea.

Re: Need to get $50k within 60 days

I wholeheartedly agree. When I look back at it, school was the most stress free time of my life. I'm not sure you are ready to handle the stress of running a business if school is stressing you out....

Re: How Should I Brand My Writing Business

Personally, I wouldn't suggest competing based on prices. It is a lose-lose situation. Unless you live in a country where the cost of living is low it would be extremely hard to make a business out...

Re: What is your official job title?

Out of the many tried, this is definitely the best one.

It gets the conversation going without the other person feeling intimidated. So instead of them thinking.. What the hack does that even...

Re: Rank Reporting Software Suggestions?

Have you tried serpfox? It has a nice clean interface and you can setup rules to be automatically notified if/when the sites you are monitoring reach a certain position.

Re: Gatekeepers and how we deal with them....ideas?

I think you are confusing branding with marketing.

Before I had my own business, I was employed by a telco that makes billions in profit each year. Telemarketing was (and still is) a significant...

Re: SEO Is Upside Down ATM - Are You Scared?

My company has a huge number of established websites.

A lot of them are focused niche sites. Not the spammy 1-2 page ones you see but with 10+ pages of good engaging content.

While some are not...

Re: Directory Site Profits 101- How To Make Money With Directory Sites In 2012!

To recommend...

Re: Directory Site Profits 101- How To Make Money With Directory Sites In 2012!

They won't be slapping them down. Their intention is to replace ours with their own. So if they have their way, most directories other than their own would just become supplemental listings.

Re: Directory Site Profits 101- How To Make Money With Directory Sites In 2012!

Not tomorrow, no. But they will eventually want to. I mean look at the size of this pie. Why would Google not take all that it can?

They have a track record of doing exactly this (in different...

Re: How do I handle this? Client expects Googles first page in a week? (Not even selling monthly SEO
