Re: Questions for the lead gen people that work on commission...

This has been a source of pain for offline commission-based marketers for some time now. The first big name to do this successfully will have their foot in a big door - in fact there are a few...

Re: An Apple a day.... or something like that.

There still is a place for time-based goals - I switched back n forth with time-based and action-based goals, before landing on action-based goals (with a small, fixed interval - like 30 minutes). 2...

Re: TV and Radio. Do you use it?

Great posts here - the main gist and thrust of campaigns is that in the beginning of any campaign you aren't going to know what will work out best for you. When results come in, you may be mistaken...

Re: Mobile Websites: Who buys them?

I second most of this. What with downward pricing pressure, lack of features over wordpress mobilizers like obox, and existing designer relationships, you're better off finding another way to provide...

Re: Called 300 people with no Success

Setbacks are usually perfect opportunities to improve b/c there's no where to go but up. Make sure you're tracking your calls/leads and their level of interest, at least in a spreadsheet, google doc,...

Re: Auto-Posting to Facebook Decreases Likes and Comments by 70%

So basically any way they can create additional barriers - assume they will. At some point, with a large user base it becomes necessary to make things more difficult for what they perceive to be...

Re: Click fraud on Facebook?

Reality is, FB is not the gold bastion of advertising it has set out to be. Yes, ads can be successful with research, but you must think long and hard whether it is profitable for you in the long...

Re: Facebook Ads - What's Your Biggest Pain?

Redirects were championed as an evergreen workaround, but we all know what that means - it will end sometime. Truth is, if it goes against common sense, or is not in line w/TOS, it will never last -...

Re: My method to getting free QUALITY likes on FB

What's the internet way to clap? Well I'm doing that right now 'cause that's clever and resourceful - Kudos BB

Re: how to promote your website/blog

I'm with you James - if anyone's coming here for the first time and sees that rss/backlinking BS, it'd take em years to unlearn that rubbish. I like the guest blogging and Youtube routes - always go...

Re: FACEBOOK LIKERS

Build a huge email list first - any FB page you wouldn't spend time building a list for isn't worth it, and will probably fade away into the internet graveyard.

Re: Tell me any ideas that you might have to help increase "likes", comments and reposts on Facebook

It's a catch-22, but you have to keep posting even if/when there's no one there; you have to get over about 1k fans for ppl to start giving a rip, then it usually takes off. Get a plugin that allows...

Re: Is it worth buying fb ads?

Facebook's great to use - when I'm not using my own money.. So much testing is involved in successful FB campaigns that you really have to factor that in when you're considering cost per acquisition....

Re: PoF- Creative angles lead to zero conversions?

I still find POF to be one of the best ways to find out how to get an offer to convert - then I take the offer elsewhere. Vanilla stuff hardly ever works there, but the different stuff does; it's...

Re: do users hate content lockers ?

First users start hating them, then networks - in that order. I have used them, but only when I really, really, wanted something. The other times I couldn't be bothered and left.. I guess that's good...

Re: Prosper202 vs Demon Tracking, conflicting views

Having used both, I tend to prefer Bevo tracking - less overhead and more efficient imo..

Re: Adsense alternatives

I second adbrite, bidvertiser, chitika, and even clicksor (they're quick to get an account up and running). When you shoot actions/conversions up, everything starts looking better..
