For the latter, I use ClickDesk - really easy to use and looks good. Unsure about chat rooms though, so can't help there.

I really love the colour scheme and I really like the menu - great choices!

Add style="margin: 0 auto;" to your div id "wrapper" and remove the existing margin data. That should center it, no problem!

I'll always champion Wordpress. I know a lot of sites that use Joomla, and many developers swear by it. My personal preference is Wordpress though - good for so much more than just blogging!!
