Alright.. as long as Google is showing you 50 results you can be rest assured that all your backlinks are fine. Keep in mind, Google usually doesn't show you all the links pointing to your site.

It's always the QUALITY of backlinks that matters the most in gaining top ranking.

Just like the fact, 18 links from PR5 pages = 16803 links from PR1 pages...

jnm007a is right. This is why we see the Adobe site (get.adobe.com/reader/), for example, ranks No.1 for the keyword "click here" although this search term ain't written anywhere on the web page.
