We've been using long codes for quite some time now and have no intention of changing. So far, they've been working extremely well for us and, more importantly our clients, through Twilio.

All of clients are set up on long codes with Twilio. All of them send bulk texts through out platform which leverages the Twilio API using the front end we custom built.
So far, no issues...

I just got an e-mail from Twilio saying they've cut their SMS send prices in half, reducing the cost to send an SMS with Twilio from 2 cents to 1 cent. That means SMS texting is now 1 cent...
