This is what i don't understand many of the links they have are from high DA websites but when you go to the actual domain it has nothing to do with anything?

really? surely it will, isn't that the whole point with google now that if you have spammy links you get penalized? you just have to look at the links they have to know they are unnatural

thanks for your help guys really appreciate it. The links they have sudden got seem to be from Chinese websites and other random non related sites.. I shall do as suggest and concentrate on our own...

I sell domains but thats neither here or there i just want to know about the sudden influx of links to our competitors...

A competitor of ours who we monitor has recently in the last few weeks got hundreds of new referring domains and thousands of refering pages.

What is going on?

Will they be penalized by Google...
