Hostgator has been good for a couple of years, just after it is taken over by EIG. A REALLY BIG problem hit my website. Poor customer support, long waiting time for live chat, website keep getting...

After reading some of the comments above, I would avoid EIG hosts including bluehost at all costs. Coz hostgator and bluehost is hosted by EIG. So it make no difference, go for Stablehost.

They become a rubbish after being sold. One of my sites almost ruined by them. Switched host immediately after noticing the problems on hostgator.
