If you look at all his high PR backlinks, I dont think any blog network can provide that many certainly not BMR, perhaps he used many networks

what networks can provide 35 PR5 Backlinks?

Point is, how important is the redirect PR6 in his number one ranking

If that is the reason he is number one (I highly doubt that) then why spend all the time and effort on all his other high PR...
