The one thing I learned over the years is that when you think that you can get on page 1 or 2 of Google just because you paid some "professional" to get your site...

Almost nothing. I bought a couple of domain-names and hosting, and an initial free (or $1) month with an autoresponder. That's all....

Well said, Shawn. These are the only things you need to start making money. Once you've built a solid foundation for your business, you can start investing in other things to scale up your income.

The only real tools you need to start is hosting, a domain and an autoresponder.

The rest of the stuff is nice to have , but not a must

It really depends on what you're pursuing and the manor in which you approach. No doubt there are quite a few who have really finetuned their system and are able to outsource their work to assistants...

It is free. There are some covers that you can pay for but they have a few that are free. You just have to create an account but they don't charge you to create the account.

Most creative professionals use Photoshop to create their images first, and then use add ons called "action scripts" that create the image from the flat design I.E the link below.
