No, that would be a terrible result! After 6 months blogging I'd expect at least 10 times that. I started a new blog 2 weeks ago and it's already getting about 50 uniques a day.

Thousands per month with a niche site really isn't that inconceivable. If you're making an average of $50-$70 per affiliate commission (which is very easy to do in the health niche) that's only 15-20...
