If you can see that Google has indexed/reindexed a backlink page and your backlink is visible than obviously Google knows the backlink exist. Otherwise you're just guessing.

If you want to market your product in Greece then really start with PPC (Adwords?) and closely monitor (setup conversion tracking) which keywords are making you money. Then stop the rest...

If you can get the clicks for that price and get a 1% conversion rate it sounds like a reasonable idea. Essentially you would break even on customer acquisition and later make money by up-selling....
