Re: dynamically change aweber optin values without touching code

Forgot to mention that you need to put opening and closing PHP tags in your list file. For example...

<?php
$form = "342767906";
$listname = "hbblist-10000";
$url =...

Re: dynamically change aweber optin values without touching code

Easiest way would be to put your list values in a PHP file (just give your text file a PHP extension), and then create a variable for each value, like...

$form = "FORMIDVALUEHERE";
$listname =...

Re: URL Scraping question - Which URL's!

Yeah, when starting out I also do it by hand.

Then once I get stuff converting, I'll move onto scrapping.

To answer your question regarding which URL to use, use them all. Doesn't hurt...

Re: URL Scraping question - Which URL's!

I agree, manually do everything first so you know what you're doing.

Then find tools to automate it.

You wouldn't just pick up a nail gun without hitting a couple nails with a hammer in the...

Re: URL Scraping question - Which URL's!

Honestly, if you are just starting out - don't even think about scraping, do it all by hand, it's scary the results that came come by scraping if you are not careful and in my opinion you do not...

Re: URL Scraping question - Which URL's!

It depends on how urls match or relate to your offer.

Although urls are in the first page of google, if they does not match your offer, you will not get lead.

For me, I pick any urls and...

Re: PPV URL targeting More or Less URL's

Re: PPV URL targeting More or Less URL's

Honestly there is no right or wrong answers for this. It all depends on how much traffic the urls get. I started usually with a few hundred them during my "optimization" I delete some and add many...

Re: LeadImpact

Yes. LI is great. Highly recommend them. HOWEVER... you still have to TEST and TRACK! :)

Like with any other venue, you have to know how to market properly. Otherwise, you'll wind up burning cash.

Re: LeadImpact

Leadimpact is great but they are not the largest PPV network... not even close. TrafficVance is much bigger.

To answer OP's question - I highly recommend you start on LeadImpact, get your...

Re: LeadImpact

Trafficvance is #1, Leadimpact is #2.
Mediatraffic, Adonnetwork, and directCPV are okay.

That's rating based on my own experience with them.

Re: LeadImpact

I'm a big fan of LeadImpact and suggest it to all of my publishers wanting to push PPV traffic. It's much better than DirectCPV and does not have the huge deposit required by Trafficvance. Definitely...

Re: New To Media Buys

Re: Aweber Query Confirm or Not to Confirm

You can switch it "on" based on your goal(s) for your list(s). Confirmed opt-ins are somewhat better qualified as they've taken the additional step to receive your info. However, you'll actually get...

That being said, I have yet...

Re: Aweber Query Confirm or Not to Confirm

Iain - I don't personally use double optin any more. BUT, I am very careful to not over-promote or piss off my lists. If you're going to be aggressive, I would use the confirmed optin.

Re: Aweber Query Confirm or Not to Confirm

Hi Iain,

Without a double email opt-in, you risk keeping bad email addresses on your list.
