I see nothing unethical about offering a prize or reward to thank them for leaving an honest review....

I've never agreed with this. Many of these businesses spend hundreds of dollars a month on bills like the phone or electric bill. You can sell on price but it isn't needed.

Short of playing nice and seeing if the owner will sell domain, you don't have any recourse. When you register an LLC in one state, it doesn't mean someone can't register that LLC name in another...
