For "regular" digital products, like an eBook, it may be better to not spend a lot of time worrying about it and move on, unless it's a high ticket item, in which case you might want to go an extra...

I was thinking of the pink one, the signature confirmation.

PayPal's seller protection policies seem a bit conflicted on this one. In some areas, they ask for delivery confirmation but on others...

Wouldn't a letter work better? If they see the postcard, the scammer might refuse to sign for it. If it's in a letter, they won't know what it is and may be more likely to sign for it.
