You can go either route, I think you can add a ad if you really wanted to now, but you wouldn't get as much for it. I would say wait until your pages are indexed.

These products will work. Just make sure you find a niche and keyword that get a good number of searches. Also put adsense on your site. You may get some clicks on adsense from someone who is not...
