Re: What makes a good affiliate manager?

"Window of the network" should be the tagline for an AM ;)

It really comes down to how a publisher wants to utilize their AM. Some only want their campaigns/offers to be approved and nothing else....

Re: Content locking

Cheers for the plug, Kenster ;) Always appreciated.

Derek - the beautiful thing about content locking is how customizable it is. What we encourage publishers to do is to first discover their own...

Re: Please help! Buying traffic/proxy issue on CPA network

Definitely get in touch with the network ASAP (i.e. your AM) and discuss the situation. It depends on how the system picks up the traffic quality but if you can explain the flow of the traffic...

Re: What is a 2nd tier network?

I agree with Steve here. The "tier" association is subjective and can be interpreted based on what YOU see as a good network. There are simply too many different attributes that can be associated...

Re: CPA networks denying my applications!

What have been the reasons for denial? If the little tidbit above was mentioned to them, that might have indicated a red flag...even if you explicitly mentioned you longer use those methods.

As...

Re: How would YOU spend my advertising money?

This little tidbit right here will definitely narrow down your strategy. If these businesses currently don't have websites (including social network profiles), you could probably assume their time...

Re: Payout Difference Question

Absolutely. And if you find there is any sort of head-scratching discrepancy between the offer and split-tested networks, don't be afraid to contact your AM with the suspected party. You'll be able...

Re: Communication And Public Speaking

Neuromarketing really helped me gain a new perspective on how to deliver presentations that stick. How to "push the buy buttons", if you will.

Diagnose the Pain - Demonstrate the Gain -...

Re: Recording Powerpoint: Camtasia or ... ?

I believe you can try out the studio on a 30-day trial. Not sure if the trial is separate from the actual recording but I was able to record Powerpoints with it just fine. Worked beautifully.

Re: HELP..........CPA VIDEO!!!

Depending on what network you're working with (and if I understand your predicament correctly) you can submit each sub-page of your site, separately, each with its own content unlocker. Then you can...

Re: CPA offers for entertaiment / humor sites

Not a dumb move at all, Adam. We've had publishers see success with content locking humor sites often enough to where we even provide a pre-populated website template.

If you're featuring...

Re: What to ask your CPA contact - initially

Personally speaking as an AM, any publisher who is proactive about communication and comes to the table with a realistic agenda will always get my attention. Of course time is valuable, but there is...

Re: Is Allowing "Commenting" on my Blog Really Useful?
