Re: Speedlings?

Here's an update on the client of mine who's a Speedlings member, because it's not status quo since my previous post.

So far, he still hasn't even made back 2% of the money he's put into...

Re: Speedlings?

Here's what new now the Speedlings Vegas convention is over.

More questions and potentially more questionable practices. But before I dive in, let me share with you that I didn't meet anyone at...

Re: Speedlings?

I was asked in an email about what "forces" members to buy domains through Speedlings. Well, it's this: to use your own domains (i.e. registered through GoDaddy) you have to pay $10 to "transfer" it...

Re: Speedlings?

I know spellings members and advise one in particular. I'm not a member, so thankfully I can talk about what I know with candor.

Before anything, always read any contract before you sign. If you...

Re: SHENANIGANS: Mass Money Makers

Hopefully they've had a good lawyer review their offer and copy, like big stake direct marketers do.

These days it's easier to land into a whole lot of hot water with the feds like the FTC. Once...

Re: How difficult do you find it too outrank stores/shops?

p.s. I forgot to mention... when I say easy, I've outranked pages on some of those major sites with as few as three backlinks (to a specific page).

Re: How difficult do you find it too outrank stores/shops?

I agree with Adam. I've optimized (on and off-page) many of my URLs to outrank big sites like Amazon and Wikipedia. Pretty easy if you know what to do.

This also depends on the factors why the...

Re: I Have Been Back Linking Using http://www.

It depends.

I suggest optimizing whatever is showing up in the primary SE, just to be on the safe side.

Re: What would you use?

Depends. Not sure what market you're going after. If the target keyword is "keyword" you'll probably get crushed, never to be found on any search engine. PPC... couldn't say or image how much that...

Re: does"submitting" software build links too fast?

Potentially yes. I got too (fast) aggressive with my backlinking a couple times and wiped out two major $$$ making networks of mine. Keep it natural and make some $.

Re: 32 Most Important SEO Tips

On #2 - manually submitting doesn't seem to work as well for me with Google than having the spider find the site through good backlinks.

On #21 - "dirty tricks" (not totally sure what this entails...

Re: domain name as keyword useful?

having keywords in the URL (than not) seems to work well with my tests. Repeating the same keywords for a URL / page could hurt though.

Re: Forum backlinks

Forum backlinks have work for me with clean tests. The challenge is getting enough links to add value without getting booted from the forum.

Re: Why Articlesbase despite no-follow?

I've tested with and without no-follow tags and I've had good SERP results with both.

Makes me wonder why we're still scratching our heads about no-follows after all these years. If someone could...

Re: How Many Linkwheels???

I made it work with as little as 1 link wheel. It depends on the keywords you're going after. On the flip side, too many link wheels could wipe out every linked if you cover too much surface area and...

Re: Big Change is here -Ranking Through social networks

Things are going to tighten up in social media in my predictive opinion. The social sites that survive will tighten up on spam when SE drive over the marketers. We're just in a state of flux at this...
