Also you can visit Is My Site Indexed? - (http://www.ismysiteindexed.com) If it is not, Google will then visit it. This site works great for fast indexing.

I think it's a good idea to offer a percentage or flat rate on the first job with a referred client, not recurring. It's your work that keeps them coming back.
