If anything, put the 8-10 pages on an 11 x 17 4/5 pieces and fold it in half, then trifold if using a standard envelope. Make it more of a report. NO staples.

It's to do with the cognitive fluency of the prose, big blocks of text increase the cognitive load of the copy, which makes it more likely the the critical factor will have to come online to help out...
