LP CR is not a big factor. You can still be profitable with a landing page which gets 30% CR and loose money with a landing page with 60% CR.

I think it took 2-3 weeks until the check arrived in my mail box. And after two days the money was on my bank account. I don't recommend checks at all as it takes so long :)
