Let them bring up price first until you have an established record and rate for advertisers. Then you can start demanding a rate or you simply won't do business with them.

What are your traffic stats? Uniques visitors, page views, unique page views, etc. I would charge a flat rate per month and base my rate on how many unique impressions I could give in said month.
