It will probably crawl them in a day or so, and then you'll see details in your webmaster tools to see if there were any problems (click the details link I believe). Don't expect to have them all...

Sure, as long as you designed them yourself by hand. You can alsol hire a designer or design your own and do the same thing. Then you'll just have to check the licensing on the images you use. ;-)

I actually search by zip, and I'm sure you'll find through kw tools that a lot of other people do the same. Local results also pop up more often when you use the zip.

I wouldn't get super caught...

It won't hurt in SEO, assuming your site is related to theirs, but I highly doubt you'll have less CPC on the PPC front. If you have any proof let me know, but the way they determine what you'll pay...

It totally depends on the traffic? What does that ad spot usually convert at?

I've seen people with junk traffic go 1:8k, and be happy about that so you really need to have a value on the site's...
