Gaol was commonly used in the victorian times. You will see lots of street names near a prison that start with "Gaol".

Jail and prison are interchangeable, I use both terms.

Simple, they could be using the same backbone provider. They don't have to be with the same hosting company for both sites to be down. It depends on which carrier company their hosting company uses.

are you using cpanel with goldbar? If so it's simple you can do a full backup of the site to a zip file then upload it to hostgator and unzip it.

You forget one thing, those spammers who spam up their post count, do get banned, so their efforts to get their post counts up, count for nothing.

Rosetrees is partially correct, the only way you are barred from being the director/owner of a company in the UK is whilst you're an undischarged bankrupt, this can take up to a year or longer it all...
