Actually GK3 is a syllable longer than your existing name, and it's not exactly an acronym of Geek3. Obviously, you do what you like, but if it were me, I'd stick with the current branding.

Why change IT? :D Why not just make another website that enhances your .com one? You can use each to link to each other.

You could also use the .IT for a landing page and do all kinds of things...

Took a peek at your link profile. Majestic SEO gives you fairly low Flow Metrics scores for the number of links you have. And there seems to be at least some obviously low-quality blog comment links....

In most cases, if your site disappear from Google and still ranks well on Yahoo/Bing then you may have been slapped by Google penalty.
