Regarding PPC:

The display URL consumes ~25% of your ad copy, so of course it will have an effect on CTR.

Split test if you don't believe me....

If you placed the pixel directly on the page that is popping up then, in theory, the ROI number should equal # of views.

But, the pixel is not 100% reliable, and this type of placement is not...

At the end of the day, the only EPC that matters is your own campaign's.

The EPC you see on the list of offers is the network wide average. It includes all types of traffic from email to PPV.

Right. My understanding is you shouldn't have to hack anything (using media traffic at least.)

Send your traffic to 202. It will store the keyword/url, generate a subid and send a cloaked...

They will use your description if it's deemed relevant to the search, otherwise it seems to use content that's somewhat adjacent to the search keywords in the main body...

Unfortunately, a lot of hosting companies are doing this these days. Mainly they do it to subsidize free hosting packages. Basically, the ads are injected by the webserver as it's streaming content...
