I use pad submit worker to submit to software sites and Build My rank to post articles. Works very well for ranking but the 2nd option can be a little tedious if you do not outsource it.

I use a combination of Backlinks Energizer (by one of the warriors here, not sure who), and Bookmarking Demon. With those two pieces of software, you can get almost anything indexed.
