Mobile PPV Traffic?

Hi folks,

I'm very new to mobile marketing and I got a landing page promoting a trading app of a brand for which I'm working as an affiliate.
I was trying to set up an AdWords campaign to drive...

Re: CPC or CPM on AdWords?

You are absolutely right - if these numbers are true it's better to switch to CPM! But don't forget to use frequency capping. This could improve your CTR...

Re: Frustrated with PPV... please help!

That sounds like "the real point" in PPV success. At the moment I'm only advertising on URLs which I scraped from the major search engines. I'm gathering each time a huge list of urls (3k+) but with...

Re: Margins on Adwords->CPA

Okay, to get a bit more into details:

I'm promoting credit cards via AdWords (non US market) and it depends on the keywords. With some kws I get usually 25-30 % profit (=125-130 % revenue) and...

Re: PPV URL targeting help

You could try to bid only on the detailed page. But if you are bidding only on "domainx.com" the popup will also display when the user reaches the orderform (unless the ad frequency is capped when...

Re: media traffic - question

If you really want to target ebay (and every subpage) you should enter "www.ebay.com" or "ebay.com" with the quotation marks. But I don't suggest to target the big players on the www very broad -...

Re: Questions about Media Buys, help needed!

I just like to add that I've read also a lot about media buys in the last time...

You often read something about the "24/48h out clause" but in my experience it has nothing to do with real media...

Re: Source to create banner ads?

I would suggest just for testing why not using Google's Display Ads and advertise them in the content network. If you see that one display ad runs -> get a designer and make a "real" banner!

Re: Media Traffic, Trafficvance and other PPV Companies - An Effective Traffic Source?

@MarkOwens: Aren't you losing much money with this technique? There is a huge amount of traffic out there (okay, this depends on the ppv network but on the common networks there is very much traffic)...

Re: Several of my landing pages are ranked, should I continue with PPC?

If your merchant offers you subid tracking: Install prosper202 or use tracking202 or any other tracking system. Use subids to track every user. With this you can see EXACTLY where the conversion are...

Re: Where Can I Find Good CPV, PPV Learning Material

I think clicksor is a little bit different (they've got a content network like google) but the rest is delivered through adware.

Re: Using EPC to guestimate conversions?

In my opinion you are absolutely right! But there are always some more factors which play a role in this game: Traffic quality and/or landing page quality. So for example if you've got a very short...

Re: Media buying?

Hi Manny, thx for your answer. Do you test the offers via AdWords or Facebook Ads before you concerning media buys? Or do you rotate offers on the publishing website?

Re: Tracking URLs using Biz Rotator and Directcpv

Put it at the end of the url, which leads to Tracking202 if you want track the urls with t202. T202 can't pass this parameter - so then, when you link to Biz Rotator, you get only the subid. But I...

Re: Where to buy good lists or find converting CPM services?

Why not trying to use AdWords? That's very targeted traffic (and you can estimate what results you're going to get if your search engine rankings get higher).
With other networks it's just the trial...

Re: Disguising your sub ID/ necesarry or not?

Hmmm. If you are using PPC resp. AdWords NOBODY will see the keyword unless you put the placeholder {keyword} in your destination url. With PPV (media traffic, clicksor, adon,...) it's same: Unless...

In most of the cases nobody will steal your keywords because nobody (including yourself!) knows them when you don't use a proper tracking solution....
