I used Code Academy (which is free) and the Lynda.com CSS videos (which is not free). Lynda is superior but I think Code Academy would work as long as you start to develop your own project as you go...

Go to code academy to learn it. It will only take 4-8 hours to learn both html and css. I like code academy because they give you hands on training where you actually write code while you learn. ...
