There are no longer top article directories.

We have had high quality unique articles on article directories and google have said they are bad links.

Go figure!

Article directories appear to now be dead.

We have received a reply from google today about un-natural links. The example links they gave were all on "well known and respected" article directories...

We've started to use cloakhosting for a blog network, however they have set the nameservers as ###.websitewelcome.com, where ### is a number.

Wouldn't having virtually the same...

Let's be realistic about this, ANY link you fetch yourself, whether it be a link exchange, guest blog, bookmarking etc is not natural. By it's very definition a natural link (at least in G's eyes)...
