I had the same issue but what I did,

I just update the code on right location and it starts working again. So you should also do correction and do paste the code on right place to fix the issue.

Ask owner to cancel his old account or transfer it to you or just start fresh.

Get the login details from old owner and update all required information. You cannot create the same business ID from same user account.
