Re: Shopify or Woo Commerce?

I think Woocommerce is better than Shopify because

-You want to be in full control of your eCommerce store.

You want to have access to thousands of site designs and thousands of plugins that...

I have always used WooCommerce myself, it's much more flexible and customizable.
With Wordpress you are pretty much in charge of everything. And if you have custom needs to fulfill, it's the best...

Re: Ads on eCommerce wbsites. With or against? And how does it affect conversions?

We definitely are AGAINST ads of any kind on an eCommerce website. Your site exists to sell your stuff - not to make a piddly little commissions off of other people's stuff. Why take the chance that...

I tried them with poor results, now i'm using Ad Maven which much better and their anti ad-block solution works much better than the one Poptm have.

Re: Free trials: How did they affect your business?

I've never done free trial but like a $5 trial for 7 days and it didn't work any better
than the full price for the first month. The difficulty with free trials is that you don't
even know if the...

I never gave away free trial for a digital product, but I did give away a lot of free physical products when I was doing ecommerce. I'd say it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish, what...

Re: Free trials: How did they affect your business?

Same results for me too.

Free trials had a low retention rate, most people cancelled the trial just before the time expire. I stopped offering free trials long time ago because of this.

I sell software, and I give away free trial versions. It's pretty much essential to do this in the software niche.

Re: Free trials: How did they affect your business?

Well if you have a product that the customers will actually need then giving out a free trial is a good way to go IMO. It also depends on what your actual product is.

The best products for free...

Re: Free trials: How did they affect your business?

I think free trials are a waste of time.

At least get the $1 from them....
