Not true. Google will indexed all the lenses it finds (via backlinks, etc), but will only show 2 or 3 lenses in the results for a particular search term. For different search terms, different lenses...

Having two lenses with similar URLs will not cause the lens to get de-indexed. While I don't create lenses with the same URL, I will create a lens with the same URL as someone else if it's a keyword...
