Bad move on Google for not deciding on a name already.

They're just going to keep confusing people which is probably why the Google+ social platform hasn't been as popular as Facebook or Twitter....

Google Local basically Google Places + Social features.

robots.text is a text file from this text file mention Allow or Dis-allow. If mention allow means search engine crawls your page, Dis-allow doesn't crawls your page.

301 redirection is the best way to fix the broken links. Just add the .htaccess code to redirect your old link to new link. Or you can add 404 page if that does not belonging to your website anymore.

If the link has moved to another page, find it then re-link. If the page linked to no longer exists, or you can't find it, unlink the text. If what you are asking for is a plugin that will do these...

Another option is A1 Website Analyzer, but it is a paid tool (with a trial though) which also includes many other features, so it may be overkill if you only need to check internal links.

Ahrefs can do this, or Xenu site sleuth (watch out! resource and bandwidth hog). Personally I would use Xenu.
