Re: web 2.0s as buffer sites - Opinions?

I'm gonna jump way out on a limb and just say this.. many, if not most of the visitors here do not have a $20,000 investment on their websites, and most aren't targeting insanely competitive niches...

Re: The Future of SEO - Please Chime In

I think you should fire your 'resident SEO guru'.

First of all, in my opinion, every legitimate business should be buying traffic. Why would you not? Pretty much all of my SEO clients are also...

Re: The Future of SEO - Please Chime In

I just read that as your "Guru" ;) is using methods that no longer work, and he's trying to sell you Adwords management instead. :D

If he was a "SEO Guru" he would know that SEO is alive and well,...

Re: The Future of SEO - Please Chime In

Depends about what do you think about SEO.

If you think that SEO is only an activity of linking here and there, installing plugin here and that, and using any scheme or method which considered as...

Re: web 2.0s as buffer sites - Opinions?

Hey,

I know this will go against the grain now, but this stuff worked superb 1-2 years ago. I was the biggest proponent of tiered link building when it was working really good. Now on the other...

Re: web 2.0s as buffer sites - Opinions?

I get what your saying but step back for a min. & look at the big picture. Why would your links ever be a problem in the future? Are they links from random sites that have nothing to do with your...

Re: web 2.0s as buffer sites - Opinions?

Your doing exactly what your suppose to be doing. Web 2.0s can be deleted, even some good ones, it happens. The more built out your web 2.0 is though, the more natural it will look and the less...

Re: web 2.0s as buffer sites - Opinions?

1. I don't think so. You seem to have taken the precaution of drip feeding, and if the web 2.0s are sporting some original content it provides actual value, right? As long as you are providing value...

Re: How often do you place affiliate links in your content?

It depends what type of content, and my mind changes regularly.

I basically do what works.

What's working for me now? Is aggressively marketing links into any content that I create.

Whether...

Re: How often do you place affiliate links in your content?

I suppose it depends on the content, how the product relates to the content and whether the product is naturally mentioned in the content. In other words, it's going to vary from one piece of content...

Re: How often do you place affiliate links in your content?

Usually when I first bring up the product in my content I'll have a link for them, and then once more at the end. MAYBE throw in another in between that.

Re: On Site SEO question (Very easy for you i'm sure!)

I do not believe that having the term in the title and url as being over-optimized.

If you had it in the title, description, H1, H2's, image alt text, image file name and repeated it 20 times in...

Re: How often do you sell to your list in your emails?

Hi D,

Agreed with Steve. I provide value in every email. I sell at the end of each. Provide value, become valuable.

You can work in a value-packed sales letter if you wish but never stop giving...

Re: When do you insert your sales letters in your PLR series?

I would have to agree with Steve B who always provides valuable knowledge. However, I would have to slightly disagree about using PLR. Although I would never use PLR "straight out the box", I...

Re: When do you insert your sales letters in your PLR series?

In answer to your questions:

1. I never "slip in" a sales letter. I try to provide valuable content every time I send to my lists. When you do that, you make no distinction between a regular email...

Re: Help with creating sub-domains

No.

If you want content on a different domain, you have to either own it (e.g., My2ndDomain.com) or have an agreement with its owner to use it in a particular way (e.g., Facebook.com).
