Just as with any other social media, Facebook is a TOOL. It's NOT the be all, end all with a huge pot of gold at the end.

If you can use it effectively, do so. But, NEVER put all of your eggs in...

Personally i don't think exact match domains are going to lose their effectiveness if the content withn the site...
