I think you need to look at from a different perspective.

I think upsells are great if the upsell products help the customer even more.

For example say I purchase a list building ebook or video...

when I first started out I used Facebook and Instagram to advertising. For Facebook I would go into internet marketing groups and provide value to the group and then leave my link to my squeeze page....

To me, if you build a solid relationship with your email list it will be the same for the year 2015. If they trust you and like what you send to them, it will be relatively the same.

i don't think you need a coach, but I see no harm in getting a coach. You are more likely to not have to experience the trial and error and instead having someone tell what to do.
