Yes... MailChimp costs more because their deliverability is also a lot better. Plus they allow you to import your list. Which you can't with Aweber. ;)

MailChimp is better. Hands down. But the best is managing your own. Which is what I do. Even to the extend where I completely handle AND manage my own SMTPs and so on. Al though I use a service, too....
