1. One big advantage: ClickBank could provide vendors with stats (hits and conversion rate) on their own sales as these are currently only available for affiliate sales.

The Affiliate Referral Contract also is not appropriate.

That is not quite correct. The 'five sales' rule is a one-time customer distribution requirement. The deduction of commission takes place when an account becomes dormant (90 days without a sale)

I don't think this works in practise as a non-affiliate who signs up with ClickBank just to get a one-off commission on his own purchase will not be aware of the customer distribution requirement...
