Try to approach one argument at a time (installing, configuring, permalinks, backups, posting, pages, tags, plugins, etc.) and you should find plenty...

In my experience the most important thing to do is to make a plan.

Try to put down some ideas/activities, like:

OFF-PAGE
1) blog commenting
2) forum posting
3) social bookmarking
