for professional stuff and get pdf files listed at the top from
journals. I believe the trick is to use the write text...

Google will index the following types of files it finds on your site:
.pdf
.doc (MS Word)
.rtf (rich text format)
.ps (Postscript)
.xls (Excel spreadsheet)

I think the mini site option would be better in many cases. Especially if you use it to build an e-mail list, and then use your e-mail list to market your affiliate products.
