Re: Build Your List Then Make A Sale Or Vice Versa?

you can probably reach a good compromise by doing what is called a 'self-liquidating offer'. What this means is you offer something free, however when they sign up, you then offer a low cost upsell....

Re: Build Your List Then Make A Sale Or Vice Versa?

I think Shaun hit the nail on the head. When I was in sales my manager used to say that every time you talked to anybody, what you are really doing is selling.

When you give somebody something...

Have an enticing freebie that you give away to build
a list of prospects AND on the thank you page make

Re: Build Your List Then Make A Sale Or Vice Versa?

My friend, forget about the notion that people who optin in for a freebie are not buyers. If you get targeted prospects on your list, and have the correct plan in place aka sales funnel, you will...

Re: Build Your List Then Make A Sale Or Vice Versa?

I believe it's a common practice to maintain separate Buyer and Prospect lists, which might just start with an opt-in form at the beginning of your sales funnel, with those who followed through with...

Re: Do You Spend All Day Looking At WSOs?

I only go in when I'm looking for something specific. For example for a hot-minute I was interested in "auto-blogging" so I did some research on the main forum and then went to the WSO to run some...

Re: Do You Spend All Day Looking At WSOs?

No. Maybe once or twice a week, but that's it. Most of the stuff in there feels a little over-hyped and it's hard to weed out the good ones. (Which are usually services, not magic "make $1,863.97...

Re: Do You Spend All Day Looking At WSOs?

1. People who are browsing through the search function (i happen to see more wso results when i search the forum) end up there
2. Affiliates...

Re: If You're Going To Rewrite Your PLR Anyway, Why Use PLR At All?

Think of it this way. Would you really have to re-write the PLR if you were one of the first to buy it and post it up online? Then wouldn't everyone else's be a "copy" of yours?

But how many times...

Re: If You're Going To Rewrite Your PLR Anyway, Why Use PLR At All?

Re: If You're Going To Rewrite Your PLR Anyway, Why Use PLR At All?

You don't have to rewrite the PLR completely or even much at all, depending on how you are going to use it. People forget that there are a lot of ways to use good PLR content than posting it on a...

Re: If You're Going To Rewrite Your PLR Anyway, Why Use PLR At All?

I re-create back the PLR to my own unique style because

1. I get the research and the content handed to me in a silver platter
2. I get to see the "big picture" scope of the whole topic, and that...

Re: If You're Going To Rewrite Your PLR Anyway, Why Use PLR At All?

I almost always rewrite the PLR that I buy. It's nothing to do with any false ideas about duplicate content, it's because PLR articles tend to be written fairly generically and need a little tweaking...

Re: How Do You Gauge The Quality Of A PLR Package?

I find it helpful to see samples of the author's writing, even if it ezinearticles profile they show. I also think 10 for 25.00 is very expensive for a plr pack.

Re: How Do You Gauge The Quality Of A PLR Package?

When I'm first looking at someone new for PLR, I usually buy a small $5 pack to see what the quality is like. If it's good, I'll buy more.

Re: How Do You Gauge The Quality Of A PLR Package?

I'm not likely to buy a 10-pack for $25 from a new provider when there is so much well written PLR from well known providers at approximately $1 per article.
